Hey, I'm KazumixJapan. I like young boy hero, Zolan,Ace,Marine,Triton, and Astroboy, Mighty Atom. I have my original hero "StarBoy" as hommage of Astroboy. My favorite story is Hero atacked by stong enemy and fall in serious crisis but finally get victory with justice and bravery.

I don't like it.
Big eye, infant face, glamourous body without any expression of artist.
This is not main-stream in japan,
but minority buy many comics and games and art, total of it is very large.
Hayao Miyazaki, Hideaki anno,Mamoru Oshii and good artist of animation in japan do not use such a charactor.
Of course, there are exceptions. Some good animtaion use charactor like it, I like "Sergent Keroro".
